Thank you to everyone who purchased from Webb Ivory again this year.  Your support is always greatly appreciated by the school and the children as it allows us to buy extras we would not otherwise be able to afford.  Thank you also to Charlotte Boradley and Carol Sinclair for all their help in sorting the orders.

TOP TABLE – 10 OCTOBER 2008

Well done to everyone who earned a seat at the much coveted Top Table.

BLINK DAY

The grand sum of £371.56 was raised on ’our casual dress for charity’ day at the end of last term.  Children were invited to wear pink or blue in support of Breast Cancer and Cancer Research.  As you can see in the ‘Top Table’ picture above, various shades of those colours, and very interesting hats were worn.  The children love these days and in turn worthwhile charities are helped by their donations.

Thank you to all the parents who made an effort dressing their children up for the day.

Grocery & Raffle Week Monday 29th September – Friday 3rd October

Fundraising, Parent Council  Tagged No Comments »

Can you help the Fundraising Committee?  Their cupboards are bare and to enable Bingo Nights to continue, they desperately need donations of non-perishable groceries and raffle prizes.  Each class will be collecting as much as possible from Monday 29th September until Friday 3rd October.  Your child can hand items into their class teacher any morning next week.  Please have a good rummage in the back of your cupboards and help to keep this great fundraiser going.

Looking forward to receiving your donations!

Thank you.

We have just received another cheque from our webshop.  The total commission received to date is now £160.92.  A huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to shop online via our site.

It’s easy to buy from our webshop and it is easy for us to generate a steady stream of income.  Each purchase generates on average £2.50, so as little as 20 purchases a week could result in over £2500 for us each year!  The ‘Features’ section contains comparisons between defferent retailers for various services and products, including Music/Film and travel, helping you to save money whilst you shop.

The next time you want to buy something online, remember to click through us!

Spree Books 2008/09

Fundraising  Tagged No Comments »

Oldest and only pupils have been issued with a Spree Book today.  This is a great fundraiser for our school and a savings guide to participating businesses in Aberdeen.  Families only need to use one or two vouchers to save more than the cover price.  This year the Spree Card is inside the book and does not need to be activated, only a signature on the back of the card is required.  If you wish more than one book for family and friends, please give your order to your child.  Payments and unsold books need to be handed into school by w/b 9th September.

Thank you for supporting Culter School.
