Spring Fayre Update
April 7, 2008Mrs Yule, Chair of Fundraising Committee has written a report on the Spring Fayre. Take a look at the photos and see how much was raised on the day.
Spring Fayre - Saturday 15th March, 2008
March 17, 2008As you can see from these photos the biggest fund raiser of the year ‘The Spring Fayre’ was yet again a great success. Thanks to the hard work and effort by the Fundraising Committee of the Parent Forum and many other parents who volunteered their services. Young and old enjoyed the hours browsing round the stalls in the gym hall or playing the games in the infant hall, followed by a chat over a coffee and a ‘fancy piece’. There were crafts, face painting and hair spraying, which are always popular items. Also the ever popular Easter Egg Stall, which kept Mrs Robinson and Mrs Fiddes busy.
The total raised was £2,372.91 which is fantastic and will all go back into the school, in order to enhance the children’s education.
I would like to thank everyone who came along and enjoyed the day and a big thank you to all the parents and teachers who willingly gave their time towards making the fayre a great success.
Alison Yule, Chair of Fundraising Committee, Parent Forum
