Please accept my apologies as I stated wrong time and venue for the Bingo night.  It should have read

Don’t forget to raid your cupboards for groceries or roll up your sleeves and do a bit of baking.  It will be much appreciated by the Fundraising Team and also those attending Bingo.

BINGO NIGHT!!!!!

June 4, 2008

The Fundraising Council went to their store,

To give Bingo ladies a treat,

But when they got there,

Their store - it was bare,

There wasn’t even a sweet!

 So please could you help

Fill up their plates

For the Bingo that is on June 12th

Deliver home bakes and groceries too

To the office - that would be great!

(Sorry couldn’t resist) -

They really do need groceries as prizes and homebakes too.  Please donate whatever you can.

Also, why not come along for some fun?

Thursday 12th June

7.00pm in the GP Room

It really is good fun!

As you can see from these photos the biggest fund raiser of the year ‘The Spring Fayre’ was yet again a great success.  Thanks to the hard work and effort by the Fundraising Committee of the Parent Forum and many other parents who volunteered their services.  Young and old enjoyed the hours browsing round the stalls in the gym hall or playing the games in the infant hall, followed by a chat over a coffee and a ‘fancy piece’.  There were crafts, face painting and hair spraying, which are always popular items.  Also the ever popular Easter Egg Stall, which kept Mrs Robinson and Mrs Fiddes busy.

The total raised was £2,372.91 which is fantastic and will all go back into the school, in order to enhance the children’s education.

I would like to thank everyone who came along and enjoyed the day and a big thank you to all the parents and teachers who willingly gave their time towards making the fayre a great success.

Alison Yule, Chair of Fundraising Committee, Parent Forum
